Ben Sherman mens and Ted Baker mens

My boyfriend just picked up this amazing Ben Sherman Shirt from that boutique over on Main. He’s never bought Ben Sherman clothing before, but he seems to absolutely love it, and I have to agree with him. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him look so gorgeous and refined. I’ve only ever seen the Ben Sherman Men’s but I’m so going to check out the women’s stuff now that I’ve seen how classy Ben Sherman is. I just adore that mod look. I’ve also had my eye on the more beachy looks from Ted Baker Clothing. I’ve spotted a really unique looking Ted Baker Jacket for my guy from Ted Baker Men’s, and there’s a perfect Ted Baker Coat I picked out for this fall. I expect to stock my wardrobe with a lot more from both of these brands, but it’s so hard to choose favorites when every item in their lines is amazing.

Men’s wool Pea coats

Whats new with Men’s wool Pea coats

There are many styles of Men’s wool Pea coats available to most of us, which are outlined below. The men’s wool Pea coat was a heavy wool coat originally worn by Sailors. The original color of men’s wool pea coat was navy but most pea coats now tend to appear black. One major exception is the women’s wool pea coat from Tulle, which are available in bright colors including Red, Green, Yellow and White.

Wool Pea coats for men are quite traditional, so you don’t take as much of a risk in making fashion errors. That being said, there are a few things that you should always keep in mind when choosing a men’s wool pea coat. The first, and perhaps most important, is length. Wool pea coats worn at an unflattering length are a terrible mistake to make. Longer lengths are definitely in, but if you’re of average height, make sure that you don’t swamp yourself in your pea coat. A coat that is too long will make you look shorter. Now you’re asking, what looks good with a men’s wool pea coat? Thankfully, almost everything! As the gentleman look is in, go all out with some British-inspired accessories from Ben Sherman. Wool caps complement wool pea coats well, especially in a tweed or herringbone. Leather accessories, like a worn leather briefcase, along with laced shoes or zip up boots from Mark Nason will complete the look.

Do you want to go timeless and are you planning on wearing your pea coat for seasons to come? Try the most classic shape available, the stylish and traditional mid length pea coat with a fitted silhouette. If you need a subtle update, go for slanted welt pockets. If you need to stay businesslike, but you’re looking for something new, try texture with tweeds and herringbones. A tweed blend wool pea coat is the new look that lends a vintage touch. The Ben Sherman men’s wool pea coat is a high fashion version of the traditional men’s pea coat that suits a broad chest perfectly or gives the illusion that you have one. That’s certainly a plus, as is the price. If you’re looking for something a little more upscale, try slightly longer versions of the men’s traditional wool pea coats then try the Ted Baker wool pea coat which will flatter broad shoulders perfectly. It’s not fussy and it is the most formal of the bunch. For equally formal pea coats with a shorter length, try the G star wool pea coat, which features classic style and a strong high collar. If you have the weekdays covered but you need a coat for the weekend? Or if you’re more of an individualist, try a pea coat from Diesel. It makes for perfect weekend wear and total comfort. It’s tastefully embroidered on the arm, as well, which adds interest without being too much. Another casual pea coat is by Tulle for men. This pea coat has a straight silhouette and mock neckline, which is different and perfect for a trendy weekend look.

There are three general styles of men’s wool pea coats; first you have the Authentic Pea Coat. This is the closest reproduction of an actual US Navy Pea Coat, it comes close to meeting US government specifications for a men’s wool pea coat. This men’s double-breasted overcoat generally has a convertible collar and framed pockets, a cash pocket inside the breast pocket and is vented through the back with parallel tack. I would expect to see traditional buttons on this men’s wool pea coat. Then you have the Classic Navy Pea Coat. Which is a double-breasted navy pea coat with a wool shell, generally has full quilted lining, and should come with an Eight Button Front and Lap Seams with a stand-up collar. And finally there is the Classic Pea Coat. This double breasted pea coat comes with a wool shell, often comes with a fully quilted lining which is warmer than most, again this wool pea coat has the traditional eight button front with lap seams and the lovely stand-up collar we all love.

If you’re looking for various styles of men’s wool pea coats then there is the men’s wool Navigator Pea Coat. This men’s wool pea coat is a cold weather version of the first uniform authorized at sea, the pea coat was a warm, heavy coat made from pea cloth. Also known as a Pilot's coat possibly deriving its name from the term pilot or ships' navigator. Whatever you call it, the Pea coat is renowned for its warmth and style. In keeping with that tradition, the Navigator wool pea coat is cut from the same patterns used in the production of the official U.S. Navy issue wool pea coat and are made to the same exacting standards required by the Government. For the Navigator most manufactures use a full satin lining to lend a hint of luxury to an already steadfast symbol of American quality and style. The men’s Navigator wool pea coat will provide both warmth and uncompromising good looks for years to come. Then there is the Men’s wool Mariner Pea Coat. Seamen and business people alike will feel comfortable wearing this stylish version of the U.S. Navy wool Pea coat. The Mariner combines the traditional U.S. Navy Pea coat with just the right amount of fashion. The eight button front pockets and stand up collar provide the fashion, while the full quilted lining and Wool shell provide the function. Fashion and function combined make the Mariner wool pea coat at home on either land or sea.

Twisted Heart

I just spotted the newest editions to the Twisted Heart Clothing line and I’m so excited for when it comes out in stores, which should be very soon. I have always been a huge fan of Twisted Heart and I think this is going to be the best and most innovative line they have ever put out. This autumn the brand is presenting their Twisted Heart Limited Edition Set. There are so many different styles and colors; it’s enough to make a girl’s head spin. As soon as the new Twisted Heart hits the racks I’m taking my whole group of shopping buddies down to the mall with me to make an event of it. It’s just in time, too. Any one of Twisted Heart’s plush velour hoodies would be a perfectly cozy addition to the wardrobe I have picked out for that ski trip in a few months. I just hope it’s not so comfortable that I feel more like lounging than skiing.

G-Star or Diesel

My cousin and I just went hiking in Colorado this last week and I finally got to field test my new G-Star Jeans. It was my cousin that recommended G-Star, and I did like the look of G-Star Clothing, so I grabbed a pair of G star 3300 jeans before we left for the trip. Coming from a brand with a name like G-Star Raw, you have to figure they might fit in with a somewhat rugged lifestyle, and they didn’t disappoint. The jeans came away virtually unscathed from some serious roughing-it. I just might go back and grab a G-Star jacket now. The brand seems to run along the same quality as Diesel Clothing. Diesel Men’s is admirably hardy. I own a very well-loved pair of Diesel Jeans and Diesel Jacket for quite a while now and they’ve lived through a fair amount of adventuring.

Kensie or Kenzie

I have only owned my gorgeous new Kenzie dress for three days now and I have already gotten more compliments on it than I can count on my fingers and toes combined. And it is so unbelievably comfortable! I simply want to wear it every day. And just wait until people get a look at the Kenzie sweater that goes with it. Kensie clothing has so much feminine appeal and it’s always unique; it’s hard not to go a little crazy for it and try to buy a store completely out of their Kenzie clothing stock. I am still keeping my eyes peeled for that perfect pair of shoes and the right accessories to go with the dress, but until I find them, I think I’ll just indulge in more scrumptious Kenzie clothes. I think I’m going to need a second closet or more after they release next season’s clothing.

Bailey 44, LA Made, Michael Stars

After the success of my Bailey 44 dress at prom, I’ve invested in quite a bit more Bailey 44 clothing. I thought I had myself covered with basics for the season after my splurge on all that Michael Stars clothing. I always overdo it on the Michael Stars but it’s hard to resist all the different choices that are offered for Michael Stars shirts. Michael Stars cotton basics are ridiculously easy to fall in love with, and you can wear them with just about everything. I just snagged this Michael Stars tunic with the excuse that I could wear it to my interview on Tuesday, though I still haven’t decided if I prefer it to the tried and true LA Made tunic I got for my birthday in June, or even to that blue LA Made tank under the white sweater. Considering the fact that it’s Monday I’d better make the decision quickly.
